Compassionate Training for Newly Adopted Rescue and Shelter Dogs

Have you recently adopted a dog from your local rescue or shelter? Are you planning to adopt a new dog in the near future? First off, congrats!

Secondly, investing in positive reinforcement and force-free dog training for your new family member is a great way to be proactive and set your new dog AND you up for success!

As your dog’s trainers we will…

Teach you how to communicate with your new dog and understand their body language.

Help you work through the initial adjustment periods and develop solid daily routines.

Find fun activities to do with your dog to build a fun, loving, and strong bond with them.

He greets dogs all the time now and no longer lunges or barks!

“I did a virtual training with Emily back in 2021 when I first adopted my dog. He was very leash reactive and I was skeptical that the training would work, especially since it was virtual. But I couldn’t have been more wrong! Not only did it help with his reactivity but it helped strengthen our bond, which I think also played a huge part in his reactivity training.”

Our biggest cheerleader, without any judgement

“Emily is the BEST! She's helped us understand how to train our dog while having FUN and allowing our dog to be a dog! Our dog is very spunky and adventurous, which can cause some leash reactivity, and Emily has been our biggest cheerleader, without any judgment as we work through challenges. Love everything she/her business stands for.”

I love Logan’s style of positivity and love

“Having a highly-anxious dog can make you feel powerless - and Logan's style has really helped both Ella and I celebrate the little things ... and instills patience in me to take things at my dog's speed. Logan is really good at helping me celebrate progress ... and helping me set realistic expectations so that we see positive changes in Ella week after week.”
